SwanPro began with the women in my makeup chair.

For more than 16 years, I have helped women prepare for weddings, celebrations, and everyday moments when they wanted to feel their best. Those appointments gave me more than an understanding of makeup. They gave me space to listen.

Conversations often turned to the skin beneath the makeup: uneven tone, dark spots, dryness, changing texture, and the uncertainty of choosing products. Women wanted beautiful makeup, but they also wanted to feel more comfortable and confident in their skin.

As my own skin changed, those questions became personal. I wanted to understand what my skin needed and how to care for it with greater intention.

That curiosity became the foundation of SwanPro Cosmetics.

From the makeup chair to formulation.

My journey in beauty began in Nigeria, where early experiences in beauty, media and at House of Tara helped shape my understanding of the industry. I went on to build my own studio, offering makeup services and training before continuing my entrepreneurial journey in the United States.

Along the way, I launched a lipstick collection in 2017 and deepened my knowledge through a diploma in cosmetic chemistry.

Working with women taught me how products need to perform in real life. Studying formulation helped me understand the ingredients, purpose, and care behind them. SwanPro brings those perspectives together.

Skincare and makeup belong together.

We believe caring for your skin and expressing yourself through color can be equally meaningful parts of your beauty routine.

Our skincare approach places hydration, skin-barrier support, and informed product choices at the center. We focus on concerns such as the appearance of uneven tone, dullness, dryness, and visible signs of aging.

Our makeup celebrates expression. A favorite lipstick, a touch of gloss, or a wash of eye color can be a small pleasure, a creative choice, or the finishing touch that makes a look feel like yours.

Women of color are central to our story, particularly women navigating the changing needs of their skin through their thirties, forties, fifties, and beyond. Our welcome extends to everyone who connects with our approach.

Beauty advice can be overwhelming. Through Skincareducation, we help make it easier to understand ingredients, recognize the purpose of each routine step, and use products thoughtfully.

We encourage consistency, realistic expectations, and attention to how your skin responds. Healthy aging is part of that philosophy: caring for your skin as it changes, with knowledge and confidence.

Through Beauty in Education, SwanPro supports access to education in underserved communities in Nigeria. Monthly contributions are transferred to our partner organization’s official account, with records maintained to document those contributions.

This initiative reflects a belief that has stayed with me throughout my journey: education can widen the possibilities available to a person. It has shaped my own path, and I want SwanPro to help create opportunities for others.
